HOAs and managers

Common areas that use less water

A board needs to approve a scope, not guess at one. We write it area by area so each can be voted on, phased or dropped.

What is in the scope

  • A line for each entry, median or slope

  • Square feet and materials per line

  • Phases and what residents will see

  • What the water authority needs, if a rebate applies

How a project runs

From the first walk to the last inspection

  1. 01

Step 1: Walk with the manager

We see the areas, the valves and what the community already has on file.

  2. 02

Step 2: Scope for the board

One written scope with a line per area, ready to read at a meeting.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Approval and paperwork

The board decides. If a rebate applies, we supply measurements and photos.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Phased work

Areas are built in the order the board picks, with notice for residents.

  5. 05

    Step 5: Handoff

A zone map and a plant list go to the manager when the work ends.

Questions

What a board asks first

Can you work in phases?

Yes. The scope lists each area so the board can fund and schedule them in the order it picks.

Do you notify residents?

We give the manager the dates and a short notice in English and Spanish to share.

Do you maintain what you build?

We can look at maintenance after the work. Ask for it as its own line in the scope.
